There are many, many programs in the world of financing so don't limit yourself to visiting just one bank or mortgage broker . . BUT UNTIL you have made the decision to go with that particular bank or broker, DO NOT allow each one to pull your credit. Also see if your area has comprehensive Down Payment Assistance Programs. In other words, do your research and don't be afraid to ask for references!!
