Alison worked her tail off for me. At least once a week she prepared and emailed me a listing cart (we took to calling them the lunch cart) of properties that were within my price range and location for me to review. I'd picked some that I wanted to visit and Alison would usually have the site visits arranged within a day or two. I relied heavily on her knowledge of the area and the housing market in general to determine whether a prospect was in a "good" neighborhood, a good "value" for the money and ultimately whether it was a good investment.
Alison also made it a point to get to know me and what I was looking for in a new home. She was not shy about "steering" me away from a house that she felt would not suit me in the long term or one that would require lots of renovation. Finding and buying a new home (my first in this instance) was an arduous, time-consuming and sometimes frustrating process but Alison stuck with me all the way. Despite a couple of early set-backs Alison was always confident that we would find the perfect home for me and she was true to her word - I have. I didn't know Alison before all this all started but now we are good friends - I don't think I can give any better reference than that.
